1. Complete syllabus and the bsnl original notification is given here in pdf format.
2. Total 200 questions. All are just MCQ (multiple choice questions). Each question carriers ONE MARK. Negative mark will be given for the wrong answer. (1/4 mark will be reduced for each wrong answer)
3. Exam is for just 3 hours. Exam will be held mostly in all the State Capitals. List of centres is given in the attached BSNL recruitment notification.

Specialization: . There is a misunderstanding that Electrical students has to write only the Electrical Portion of the syllabus. It is not like that. You have to study the complete syllabus. The syllabus will cover the following:

Communication.
Network, Filters & Transmission Lines.
Instruments & Measurements.
Control Systems.
Microprocessors.
Computer.
